Samplings of Sarah Pountain

Stitched on 36 ct fabric this design by Suzzanne Brakefield is the perfect pattern that goes hand in hand with our Lap Desk also available for sale here.

This sampler is based on the 1832 sampler of Sarah Poutain. Elements have been taken from the original and incorporated to create a "sampling" of her work. The verse is what drew me to this particular Sampler because of it's timeless truth.
