Rochard Nativity Creche Lithosphere Votive Light, Limoges

The Nativity creche, the familiar manger scene of Christmas, is the theme of this Rochard Lithosphere votive light in Limoges porcelain. Made in Limoges, France, it brings a quiet glow to the holiday season once a candle is lit inside.

Candlelight at the Manger

A votive light is a small, simple form, but candlelight changes everything about it. With a flame flickering behind the porcelain, the creche theme takes on the hushed mood of a Christmas Eve service. Rochard's Lithosphere line brings that idea to Limoges porcelain, and this design is devoted to the Nativity story.

Glowing Through the Holidays

Place it on the dining table for Christmas dinner, on the mantel beside the Advent wreath, or on a windowsill where its light can be seen from outside. It suits a church volunteer, a godparent, a family that sets up a creche each December, or a host who loves a candlelit table. Always use a proper votive or tea light candle, and never leave a lit candle unattended.
